Cybersecurity for Children: SuperCyberKids Project

Teaching cybersecurity has become crucial, with children spending more time online and the digital world playing such an essential part in the lives of children and adults. SuperCyberKids addresses this need by creating a fun, game-based learning platform for kids aged 8 to 13 and their teachers. The platform features two engaging cybersecurity games, and a wide range of supporting materials, such as lesson plans, to help teachers pass on these vital skills.

To refine the approach, the project will test its content in four European pilots (in English, Italian, Estonian, and German). Based on the results, a Handbook of good practices will be developed, including guidelines for teachers, school heads, parents, and policymakers.

The project involves eight partners from five countries, including EU-level organisations like ECSO (cybersecurity) and ESHA (school heads). Over fifty school heads and a hundred teachers will participate directly in the pilots, ensuring valuable feedback and a broad impact.
